Det har varit författarens ambition att ta del av så mycket som möjligt av det tillgängliga arkivmaterialet kring ”Market Garden”. Även om detta är i det närmaste omöjligt – med tanke på den uppsjö av små veteranföreningar, förbandsarkiv och lokala hembygdsarkiv som innehåller en del relevant material – tror jag mig kunna säga att materialet till denna bok bygger på den absoluta merparten av de officiella arkiven, inklusive en del mindre arkiv. Till grund för del 1 i Arnhem 1944 ligger bland annat material från ett 20-tal officiella arkiv samt förstahandsdokument från ett stort antal privata arkiv. Därigenom har min första aning om att allt inte stod rätt till med den gängse bilden av ”Market Garden” bekräftats allt mer.

Del 1 utkommer i november 2017, del 2 på våren 2018.
